to The Hungry Monk from London via M23
Just take the M23, M27 and A27 all the way to Polegate. At the lights
turn right on to the A2270 heading south towards Eastbourne and
then at the next lights filter right to Wannock, Jevington and Friston,
signposted A259. This road takes you to The Hungry Monk in the middle
of Jevington after about 2 1/4 miles. There is a car park behind
the restaurant.

Carry on down the A22 Dual Carriageway from the Boship Roundabout
towards Eastbourne until you come to a very large roundabout. Here
go all the way round to the last exit, which is signposted to A27.
Take this exit - the road heads south towards Eastbourne for a few
hundred yards and then turns right on to the A27 to Lewes.
Do not turn right but go on to the next set of traffic
lights on the A2270 and there turn right at a right filter light
signposted to the A259, Wannock, Jevington and Friston. This road
takes you to The Hungry Monk in the middle of Jevington after about
2 1/4 miles. There is a car park behind the restaurant.

Take the A2270 to Polegate. At Polegate turn left on to the A259
towards Wannock, Jevington and Friston. We are in the middle of
